Finally after a nightly walk with my trusty minelab 705, I got a coin from my favorite monarch Christian llll, and on top of that i I found a copper from 1771 and a fidget spinner.:occasion14: Screenshot_2017-07-06-20-11-43.webpScreenshot_2017-07-06-20-12-00.webpIMG_20170706_201418.webp

Very cool finds Jan. You should celebrate by taking yourself out to eat. It looks like he ruled from 1588 to 1648. Wow, a 60 year reign.

Ps... well done.

Jan I agree Banner I would faint if I found something that old that would look great in a finds display case, Thanks for sharing it wow!!!!!!!

Not sure about the spinner, but the coins are nice!

Very nice old coins
Congrats

Thanks guys, he did reign for quite some time. And he build most of the interesting buildings in our capitol Copenhagen. Thanks for the comments and likes.:hello:

I say banner... not for the "value"...

Or the scarcity...

But for the simple fact... its from 1771.

IMO... anything from 1700's found by someone metal detecting... is a stellar find. heh

The 1771 is the most common coin in Denmark, 55 million were minted, the small silver coin is from 1628, so it's a little bit better.:occasion14:

Nice crisp coin, congrats on the recovery.
