Yeah, we lost some evening shade, but got through okay, I hope you guys finally get over your drought, I know it has been tough with all the fires.
I feel for all the folks in the SE with all the devastation caused by the Tornadoes.

Man I can't believe the damage a tornado can cause. From the sounds of it, there have been many so far this spring already, I feel sorry for the folks that lost their loved ones. I hope that this year will not see any more tornado's.

They can be 'very destructive', we are in the process of cleaning out an old cellar & replacing the door for future use, but like you say we hope there are no more this spring.
We all wish the folks in the SE a speedy recovery.

Hey Fossis, hey guys, I'm glad you are all safe and I'm sorry for any of your losses, my niece works in Florida and was almost hit by one a couple of weeks ago and sent me a youtube video of it. Until I saw that video I didn't understand the power of a Tornado, my respects to you all for getting up and carrying on :thumbsup:

HEY HAMMERED,

IT'S TRUE, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE FORCE. I HAD A HOUSE DISASSEMBLED AROUND ME
IN THE SPRING OF 1972, IN EAST TEXAS. FORTUNATELY IT WAS AN OLD PLANTATION HOUSE,
AND WAS FRAMED WITH BEAU DE ARC WOOD. ROOF GONE, SIDING GONE, FIREPLACE/CHIMNEY
INSIDE THE HOUSE IN THE FLOOR, BUT THE FRAME HELD THE INSIDE WALLS IN PLACE.

CLEARED 1/2 MILE WIDE STRIP, EXCEPT FOR THAT HOUSE.
NOISE IS JUST LIKE A TRAIN THEN A TRAIN WRECK. IT EVEN SUCKS THE AIR OUT OF YOUR LUNGS AND MAKES YOU FEAL LIKE YOUR BRAINS ARE GOING TO GET SUCKED OUT OF YOUR SKULL.

I HAVE A GREAT RESPECT FOR STORMS SINCE THEN. I'VE LOST A LOT OF SLEEP ON STORMY
NIGHTS AS WELL.

Get that door on that cellar fast. Man, I am glad you guys are ok.
The sounds of sheet metal flapping in the wind, ripping, shredding, flapping, is a sound I wish for NO ONE to have to hear or live through. Hurricane Wilma lifted our roof up, about 6 inches, while we just stood there, with the dumb free looks on our face, then it slammed back down, blowing all kinda nasty stuff all over us.
Things and stuff can be replaced. People, loved ones, even pets, can't. Stay safe and strong, ours prayers and hearts are with you.

Thanks Hammered, we are presently cleaning out an 'old cellar' & putting on a new door getting ready for the next storms that roll through.
