The above site thinks its:
'925 NV = Nevada Silver, made in England(?)'
However, that is not a British hallmark, so we can rule that one out, but may still mean Nevada Silver??

On the above forum they discuss this mark but no-one really knows, they think its a Maker Mark (which of course is possible but doesn't pin it down much)
