That is a great bunch of points there Lars. We finally got a couple inches and a good wash so I will be out lookin today.

How much rain did you guys get over there, and was it hard enough for a good wash? It is still raining here now.

Man oh man, that Jaw Notched Agate Point is one fine piece of eye candy. They just don't get much better that that. That thing is a picture of perfection. Great material, excellent flaking, and what looks like perfect symmetry. If that's not a G10 then I don't know what is.

Killer finds for sure larson. It looks like you are off to a great start.

Re: afternoon 4-25-10 & jaw notched agate point

thanks much,
joel, pick, neo, Steevie, and ground

i was tinkin' should i try to gather up the jaw notchers and do a thread on them????
they always seem to be of a very special quality
and i know that they were not made by the same person for sure
i have never found one that is of any less than a g-9 or g-10 grade
can any of you experts explain why this is???
thanks, lars
once again, should we start a jaw notch thread or???

Oh yeah, please do. Those are the best points you find IMO.

You have more unbelievable finds. Love the material. We don't see anything like it in south Georgia.
