Against the Odds..... Today's hunt may not be repeated as three double-coin spills were dug. The first was an 1895/1896 IHP pair, followed by a 1941/1944 wheat duo, and ended with a 1943/1952 Washington quarter pair stuck eagle-to-eagle. First find of the morning was a collar stud and the last find of the day was an 1873 IHP that was down about a foot, as was the intact brass key, my first intact skeleton key.

Eleven keeper coins and the nice skeleton key, what else could you ask for? O need a hunt like that one real soon.
