I love collecting petrified wood. The best is when you find a point made from it. It is amazing the different varieties. That's is a great agatized piece. Good luck on your hunt!

I have found two Cascade knives made from pet wood. What is interesting about your comment, is I was out looking for points! The area is part of an old ranch I recently got permission to search, The old man says he has been finding points for 60 years, since he was a kid (he is in his 80s now). I didn't find any points, but I definitely got distracted by the pet wood haha!
