I found this piece of pumice, or a type of volcanic rock, and it has these intensely colored nodules in some of the voids. One looks like a mini geode. Any ideas? I may have to take it up to my friends at the mining museum and see what they think!

Those kinda look like secondary minerals to me. Not sure, copper related? Could also be zeolite-ish stuff filling voids.
I'd say bring it to the museum and let us know!
