Found this yesterday and thinking its a buckle. Not even sure on that one nor the age. Site is early pre 1830 from coinage and relics.

Size is 35mm X 45mm

I think it’s actually a faux buckle brooch, like a sash pin, from ? maybe late Victorian? Can someone say when these were popular, if that’s what it is?

I still agree with Ben.
I think it's a sash buckle brooch or pin, Victorian era. The rounded buckle catches are the best evidence of this.
