today I had to let this guy move off the road, about 1100lbs probably, yesterday had 3 grizzly cubs next door, no mom in sight. cow with twins was earlier this summer, poor picture

Won't starve with those things around. My brother lived innAnchorage for quite a few years and I go up there quite often for halibut out of Homer. Love the scenery but I hate winters.
What's with this guys tail?? Christmas lights?

Good pics. Those rascals wander around town here. The local newspaper is tired of user submitted moose pics and won't post them. Unfortunately there was a fatality accident on I-70 last week with one. Those guys aren't real friendly in my experience. I saw one and was gonna get a pic, and I must have done somethin wrong, cause he came after me. I dodged through the trees, cut right, cut left, hell with the pic, and beat him to the truck.
