Howdy all,
Was able to find some time this weekend to hunt. Finally tracked down a local farmer and got permission to hunt his fields.
Started on an alfalfa field today...unfortunately the warm (hot!) weather last week has the alfalfa very deep already and gridding was impossible in most places. Two houses sat here in 1873+. Ended up with 6 wheats (oldest 1919). Where were the IH's?
Also a train button, thimble, and a horse thing, possibly a bridal rosette? Can someone confirm/deny please?
Lovely day to be out!
