You and Blingie have waaaaaaaay to much fun! I want to go so bad, but still have well over a foot of snow on the ground!! But going to be in the 40's this week!!!! Going to have to be creative , but I am going to try someplace, .........................inside the livestock barns, at the Fairgounds?

Haha...I get excited by stuff all the time when I rollover the dirt..just to get disappointed.

Was at early 1800s house hunting last summer....had a nice hit on the F75 about 6-8 inches deep...made a nice cut in the sod...figured must be something nice !!!

Out pops 2 of the same thing you got there...lol....outta register or price tagger....last thing I expected to see.

So your post made me smile.

I have heard that is actually a good place to hunt,lost prize medals and coin and you never know there could be jewelry,you might even find some baked goods in the form of meadow muffins.

They are awesome to hunt. I hit them a lot when its warm, always neat finds, coins, saddle/tack bling, jewelry. Horse barns seem to be a teenage hang out, during 4-H fair. They are covered open barns, hoping for diggable "dirt"

That sounds like an awesome idea! Although, I remember hunting the dirt basement floor of a very old bank once. Didn't find anything but BOY! was that packed dirt hard to dig!! LOL

Looked like a ring at first, I have dug a few of those radio dials, reminds me of the volume knobs on old AM-FM portable radios (even before headphones, they had little speakers) Way before cassettes, walkmans, discmans, or IPODs. Haaaa lol old stuff

Yep, all those came to mind. I was kind of thinking someone had taken an M-80 to an old clock radio. LOL

Yep I would've thought ring, but then that's always my first thought! Lol! Thought I snagged my elusive diamond/gold one Sun....but it was a junker...sigh, one day, I will find it!

Snow cover is gone hear but the ground is only thawed where the sun shines! Hopefully by this coming Sun our soil will all be thawed!
