All day thrifting.

A buddy and I went out today and hit a bunch of thrift stores that we haven't been to for a while. We asked around to see if anyone knew of any new stores that have opened or anywhere that we should go and we actually found probably 15 new places. I did not buy a whole lot of stuff because I have a whole lot of stuff. Just kind a looking for some deals I couldn't pass up and seeing what other places were out there. Out of the stuff I did find though I had to share some of them!

The cufflinks for five dollars roaches were each six dollars set for the Carnelian one. It was $15.




And amazing sterling silver bolo. I've never seen anything like it this one was eight dollars!! Sterling silver with stones..




Then we saw a second pair of these later on somebody else was buying them. But for $1.50 A pair of gold filled American optical sunglasses. They're not in the best condition so I'm not sure if I'm gonna sell them as parts or whatever but for $1.50 I was not leaving them!!

It was about 1 nice item for every 5 we went too that wasn't overpriced. About the average for yard sales. Went about 30 miles from fort Myers to Naples.

Hell, it's nearly 50 miles just to get to the nearest consignment shop here. Next nearest is another 25 miles, but in a different direction. Hmm...there's a Goodwill or Salvation Army (can't remember which) in Grand Forks, ND, but we rarely travel that far. That's 3 hours for us, one way.

Went out again today. Being my birthday and all. Wanted to see if any good luck continued.
The first five stores I went to were awful so I gave up went and did some other stuff I wanted to get done today. Before I pick my daughter up from daycare I stopped this consignment store to see if they had anything worthwhile!
They had stuff worthwhile!
