All those great musicians of my youth are passing. On the flip side,many are still going strong.
 

They aren't the musician of my youth, but of my late twenties and early thirties. Oh no, What does that mean about me?!!!
 

It was those kind of songs he wrote that inspired me to hitch-hike from Des Moines, IA to the California Bay Area in the summer of 1975. I wouldn't suggest for any 19 year old to do that today though.

I was just kidding about the old crack. I'm pushing 60 myself. 🤣
 

I started listening to Allman Brothers in 1971, with Live At Fillmore, still listening to them.

he was an amazing song writer.
thier music brings back good memories of times with buddies also no longer with us.
