Was out in the 102 degree afternoon at the local school and found what looked like a fancy button from some jeans. It showed up as a quarter. When I got it home and cleaned it some I got real exited since it had Half Dollar on the back, United States of America and part of some wings--a Walker! Something didn't seem right but it shined up real good after some more cleaning although I could see some copper in places. I first thought maybe it was just where it was soldered on the back or maybe the star was fake and soldered into the middle of the half. Anyway, I did an image search on google and found the exact same concho with the same engraving--turns out it's a cast silver-plated concho made by tandy leather and some other companies--oh well, had a little excitement & a little silver
Besides the usual trash, I also found a couple of quarters, two dimes and 15 pennies so not a total loss.
