At my first old place. The ground is hard and dry, weeds grown up, poison ivy everywhere. I dug signals just to find junk. I was ready to call it a day when I got a strong signal. Once more I go to my knees and dug and to my surprise this beautiful 6 petal sleigh bell ! My first sleigh bell ever and when I got the packed dirt out; it still jingles :)
Don't know what this other item is and unfortunately, I broke it getting it out.

It was only about 2" deep. I was surprised. It gave a strong quarter signal.

relics are always an awesome find. I will take relics over silver depending on what it is

Pretty sure you dug part of a clock mechanism like this
