Almost Packed

I have the whole week off and Im heading out to the Everglades for a few days of hunting. I almost have the truck packed. I just have to pack my clothes. The last thing to put in the truck will be my rifle, metal detector and ice. Im not sure what day I will leave but it will be soon.

Lucky dog! I'm jealous! I've been working nights all week and this is our "busy" time of year. What you going hunting for, hog or deer? I think turkey is in season now too isn't it?

I thought about that just to fool with him but used a stick instead.

We are allowed to collect dead wood but it is easier to bring my own, already cut to size and split, when I am camping next to my truck. People collect all the available wood near the campsites and the pickings are slim. Plenty of wood further out for those that hike and camp.

I could use a partner. I have some potential Indian sites that I would like to explore. The time is right. I have some time off work and the weather here is getting nice this time of year. You are in Germany?

yes,I'm living in Germany.Thanks pal,I would really like to go with you! - but instead I'm flying to Southamerica / Uruguay within 10 days from now
Of course,I'm taking my vintage Wildcat detector along with me.As I am planing to stay there many months so
I will have time enough to search in some historical sites. - Let's see what I can find.... perhaps I can take some shots and post them here,hopefully.

I always hunt deer/hog alone but I could use a partner for treasure hunting. South America probably has many more oppurtunities than overbuilt South Florida. Thanks for the interest. BE CAREFUL.

This is Monday nite and Im all packed to go hunting again. Im leaving about 2AM. Will be gone all week. I hope I find/kill something to take pictures of. You wont have to put up with my babble in Politics for a while.
