Had about an hour before dark, had to wait for storms to end. Hit a spot close by that I’ve hit many times. It’s a nail/iron infested hole, but I keep bringing out things that tell me it’s not hunted out.
Highlights of today (besides of course the half dozen Lincoln memorials and 2 clad Roosevelt dimes) are a 1911 (in remarkably good shape for the ground here) wheat, a 1930 wheat, a “BC CO” plated spoon and a 1859 fatty IHP. One year older she would have been flying… oh well, my first 1859, so not complaining.
