It has some holes in it at the creases and i think i will put it in a larger frame.Anyone have any ideas on value??

I would definitely get it professionally matted,it would only enhance the value. You could have it restored to get brid of the holes and the foxing but it is rather costly.Here are some tips about map care-http://www.theprimemeridian.com/MapCare.htm

There use to be a guy in a town about 45 mins away that sold and matted old maps i will call him and see if he still does it.
