bought one used, rigged a spray bar on it,and it seems to run better at a flatter angle than my jobe?hardly any angle with a good amount of flow?is that the way it it works for anyone else, material claasified to 3/16,maybe kevin from colo will chime in,thanks john

Nice of you to call me out...the finer you classify, the flatter it runs. Similar to a sluice with Hungarian riffles only more so! Hope you enjoy it. Keep the depth to about 1-1.5 inches so the fine gold doesn't have far to fall too when you can (especially in faster current)...the AM sluices are great for fine gold that way.

you seem to b the master of these, just using it as a concentrator in the yard i was impressed at the black sands it holds, likes garnet to,a little small but compared to my jobe but, weight, the amount of material to haul back out,im given this thing a shot.differant spot differant sluice, they all have there place, thanks for the reply john

Get a Bazooka Gold Trap, Kevin is a master of those too : )

Well, when u have the water for it a Bazooka is amazing. My Prospector can handle more unclassified material than I can shovel (and I'm pretty fit!) - I think the Goldtrap might me the highest production, non-powered gold getter out there. Would love to hear of anything really different that is better!(some other under flow sluices are probably good competition but I've yet to see one that takes as much material and cleans out as fast. Hope the guy who makes does great cause it sure is good value for your prospecting gear $$!
