Am I getting the run around here?

The luck that some of you have had here has inspired me, so I went to a couple of banks today, after I got shot down at the first one, the second one said they didn't have any boxes, but they had $560 worth of rolled halves... This immediately told me that I had stopped at someone else's "dump" spot, but I picked them up anyway...

Sure enough, nothing... apparently the guy who searched them couldn't count because a couple rolls were under, and a couple had 11 bucks in them...

For all my trouble I ended up 50 cents ahead!!! YAY!

A lot of the coins were marked, i took pics of some of them but they wouldn't fit... I have posted them on my photobucket because the system on here wont let me upload them

actually probably like 5-10 percent of the coins were marked like this...

Does that mean that someone has already been through them?

I ordered two boxes at my credit union and the girl said they would be in tomorrow, I almost dont want them now, because I am on a $2560 bad luck streak, which is nothing I understand, but just aggravating...

Yes and no. A marked coin has most likely been searched but that is only true about that single coin. For example, the hunter may be in Philadelphia, searched through a roll of coins, gave it back to the bank, the bank sold it to another hunter, that hunter then spent the dumps, the half dollar then was given out in change to someone visiting from Texas, they then spent that in Texas and the marked coin made it into someone's change who then added that half dollar to have a full roll (the rest of the coins being walking liberties) and then took it in and deposited it in the bank. Yes there is a marked coin in there, but the rolls could be full silver (minus the mark).
