A good story about the life and times of world famous Amarillo Slim, poker player, book maker, all around hustler and gambler.
I enjoyed it, he tells a lot of amusing stories, one about beating Bobby Riggs in ping pong. Riggs was a top notch player, but Slim had him agree to use paddles that Slim would supply. He practiced for a month with a cast iron skillet, and by the time Riggs got the hang of it, Slim had him.
