AMAZING 8" Arrowhead/spear, real or fake?

Hello,

Going through my Dad's collection of arrowheads and stumbled upon this hum-dinger. It was supposedly found in a West Virginia cave if I'm not mistaken, although we were both born an raised in NC. Could someone shed some light on the validity and/or value pf said piece? He only purchased 2 pieces in his life, this was left to him by a fellow collector I believe.

If thows are genuine ,all I can say is Wow.Try posting it on the Native American artifacts section if you don't get the answer you are looking for here.That is a monster blade.

The point sure looks good to me. I'm not an expert on identifying fakes, so if it is a fake, you are fooling me. I don't know about
the hammer, but I'm leery on that one.

The base of the knife doesn't look like any that I am familiar with and the flatness makes me think it was knapped out of a sawn slab. I think its modern.

I make arrowheads, and I have made a lot of arrowheads in my life. The big blade looks modern. Looks Like a "gray ghost" to me. I think flinthunter is 100% correct in saying that it was made from a slab. Thanks for sharing.
