I agree with Dave, there will always be hope, but what is needed is to have sane and practical people retake control through the voting booth and but some intelligent people in office. It has always been said that our elected officials are intelligent, and they may be, but while they might know have to gather and assimilate information....they lack the wisdom to know what to do with it.....We need a clean sweep in the next election, and some real soul searching when we choose our next election....but I fear that just like today, we will continue to kick the can down the road, and notsolve the problem. I hope that I'm wrong......Gary
