Is there a good area I should post for help for with help with American Indian blankets and rugs?

Hello sirenscure,

Welcome to the TNet basement. I'd suggest posting in North American Artifacts. An extremely knowledgeable bunch congregate there.

I will look at photos...but, to find the true worth..one needs an expert...and there are only a few in the united states...

there are maybe three or four places I would trust to comment on weavings in the southwest...

Thank you- here are a few photos I think most are indian I can make more than one post. I also have beaded shoes and a victorian belt. I can only tell its that old by a piece of jewelry that's on it. Plus I also have 2 purses sadly one is very badly damaged and I think may be common tourist item. The other purse not sure the leather is so hard. I will post rugs and what I guess is blankets first thank you. I will also follow links. Sadly there is damage to 2 pieces on corners

Thank you I'm thrilled to have them. I hope to have more time here in the next few weeks to research them more. I did find some websites that seem promising. I'm not in a huge rush. I also met a manger at a thrift store that is American Indian he said he could look at patterns and try and help me. The belt is my favorite - I think ;)
