When Grand Funk first appeared they were a good rock band, what ever happened to their music down the wrong.. I think someone switched the track on them without telling them about it

Uhhh, 16 year old boys eventually turned 17, and realized chicks for the most part weren't aroused to unknown levels of horniness by their music blastin from our 8-tracks? Cool group, saw Mark Farner do a show once. Over promotion did not help either. 'Mark, Don, Mel...first names only, like Elvis, Cher, Madonna....' Then Mark Farner found Jesus who had apparently been missing for sometime and that cooled the rock thing for awhile. Probably their ultimate downfall in the legitimate rock world was claiming that groupies actually said 'c'mon dudes, let's get it on!'
