An Amazon customer in Texas was not enthused when her first drone-delivered order was dropped into her swimming pool. After hearing the loud buzzing of the drone arriving, she ran outside to record the delivery, and to her surprise, it landed in her pool.

I would hope a drone delivery service would actually set the package down, not drop it from ten feet in the air. That's not going to work well no matter what's in the landing zone.

Edit: Apparently you have to put a pin on a map when you have a drone delivery, so if it went in the pool, it's because that's where they put the pin. Still seems like a really bad idea to drop packages from a height though.

How's that any different from a person throwing your package? lol. It's not.

Lowes may pick up also on dropping packages. Hopefully not form 20-40 feet because it is hardware.
