i decided to brave the cold and get out for a couple of hours today to a park i have hunted a lot in the past. now that the leaves are gone it opens up the woods again. although good finds are scarce at this place it seems like the finds are better in the trees for some reason. anyway i came away with this 1895 Indian Cent and a 45 Wheatie.

The trees were probably not there 110 plus years ago. Nice find., There was an old hotel near here and when you drive by you would never imagine a hotel stood there

Good job ,Happy Hunting to you.

Congrats on the IH and Wheatie! HH, Mike

Nice IH, I would think the woods would be the only place a guy could dig in now up here in the North.

Gotta love leaves in the woods, especially if they lay on a hill on the south side in a woods. Usually doesn't freeze!
