A small group hunt of three to a couple of sites which held promise, and definitely worth the effort.

I ended up with three coppers, the small one looks like a 1700's netherlands duit, as it is the correct diameter, and I can see a similar crown, but not a pos. ID. I can see a bit of a ship on the medium sized one, and can ID it as an 1813 half penny token. Oh well maybe the next copper will be better.

A piece of monogramed Silver, a modern Silver (1943), and of course a whatzit.

No hunt for a couple of days now, too much rain, hope it clears the air.

Nice going on the silver and the whatzit is a key hole cover I believe.

Keyhole cover is a logical guess, because of the general shape, but there is not pivot pin on back, and it doesn't look as if one had broke off. as I do have a key hole cover that either has the pin or hole for one I forget just now. And not that I argueing, just stating that there is no pin or place where one was. ???

I'm going to change my view on the find and go with a Georgian draw pull, as I found a few examples on another link.

Very nice variety of old finds. I especially like the monogrammed silver 'spork'.

Good finds Rick but that silver would look much better in the sun... if there was any.
