I bought these a long time ago from a uncleaned ancient coin lot on Ebay. I cleaned them up quite a bit and was wondering what they are, there values and if I did a good job of cleaning them.

Chances are they won't have much value but you did ok on the cleaning job!

:hello:

All later 3rd or 4thc Roman Bronzes, one of the reverses is one I reconize well(captive between soldiers) this a common find from my Roman Villa site.

Nice cleaning job, but be carefull with electrolosise on Bronze Roman coins...they can fall apart :-\

SS

1st was nice one..
2nd it looks like gordianvs nicaea
3rd gallienvs aeqvitas ? antonianus
4th constantius common victoria
5th also or bros, dragging
6th bro,vot
7th bros,soldiers
8th bros,vot
9th theodosivs gloria, two -3 emerors?

roman coins must be cleaned with toothpick or soft metal pins.

much luck

When you say the first was a nice one do you mean I ruined it with electrolysis? Also, im still in the learning process of cleaning and identifying ancient coins, are any of these worth more than the $1-$2 I paid for each coin.
