Found this in a Greco Roman area. This place commonly gives up items from 400BC through 400AD. I feel like this may be newer but it's unlike any Christian pendants I have found to date.

I have also found items from the 1400's to present in the area as well. I'm hoping this is Roman or Greek but the text looks more modern.

It's definitely copper. The figure holding the globe appears to have faint wings.. Angel??

The text to the right of the "angel" as far as I can read says "SIALU" (the S may not be an S and the U may be a W)
The text to the right says "SSSACR" (the C could be a G and the R could be a P)

The back is wiped pretty clean. It has text on both sides but its impossible to decipher.

Any ideas what I have here?

Thanks for the input. The figure looks quite female to me. Atlas, so far as I know, has always been depicted as a muscular man. I'll have to dig more on that.

I was looking into "Olympic" tokens coins medals.

Also looked at Copper religious tokens , Some had the same
man but the obverse was a portrait.

Ancient roman artwork depicts a woman with a ball.
Wall paintings.

Thanks for looking. Mind linking your search results? I can't seem to find the same.

Can you made out any of the words on the coin/medal?
You don't have to understand them, just type them.

Ancient Olympic wall frescos
Men pictured could be a discus
Ancient Greek Olympic Games wall frescoes-Hellenic Art
They used to paint all the events or tile mosaic them on the walls of the Olympic locations
women could participate but could not be married.

I searched - ancient greek olympic art- or roman

Nice!

I believe that Chiltepin hit the bullseye. Looks to me like the front depicts a thrower lining up a discus , the reverse is a throwers position after the release of the discus?

Thanks for the help. I suppose it could be a discus. I'll look into that as well. Seems strange to be holding a discus overhead as if in reverance though. As much as I would love for it to be Greek or roman, it's not quite adding up to me. I'm not seeing the tell tale signs of a Christian pendant either though. I have quite a few Christian pendants (several hundred years old) and they are quite obviously Christian. Mother Mary, Christ on cross, Saint so and so, etc.. I was hoping to get an ID on the woman holding a sphere.

The text as I can read it is posted above.

I you really think its religious start searching for Saints with wings.

St. Raphael
St. Michael
St. Gabriel
Etc.

They all had wings

Good luck

Still no dice on positive ID unfortunately. It's just going to be one of those mysteries I guess. I'm still very happy with the find!
