Anclote River, Florida find

What kind of point is this? I found it near the Anclote
River in Florida.

Not a point, looks like a waste shard. That's a great sign of artifacts being in the area you found it.

Looks heat treated too. Many times those flakes were so sharp they were used as expedient knives. If you have a loupe you can see if the edges are worn down.

Can't say for sure from a photo, but it looks like it might be a core correction flake.
