2 3/4 by 1 10/16 South Georgia field rescue. This one was hard to get decent pictures of. I'm guessing a Savannah River.

Really nice lithic. The swirly inclusions are really neat. It’s a wide, the scale is making me smile.

Thanks Fat, one of my favorite colors; only found this material in South Georgia.

That subdued green background, (subdued opposite’s compliment ) is just right Mike, it doesn’t compete with the colors of the point,, I never got around to doin my backgrounds that way, too much trouble
 

I like it. Mainly because it looks like one I found here in south Georgia.

Thanks Hal, this one was extremely difficult to photograph right. I tried without the background first and the colors were dull and the gloss shined too much (hope that makes sense). It is actually more red in reality. I probably should have taken pictures outside.

That's a awesome find fyr, I never get tired of the red ones. My 2nd personal favorite S. GA material, 1st are the pink ones. I have some more that I'll post one of these days.

Beautiful piece, Mike. Arredondo might be another possibility.
 

I like that material and have one very similar to this one in color and size. It was found south of you in Dougherty County, Georgia.

I looked that type up sand and you could be right, it was found in a area that produced alot of S. Rivers. I love S.R's but will take a Arredondo over it.
