This one's the size of a nickel but thinner. Appear silver, I haven't messed with it. Obverse is a young guy with a sharp nose and legend IMP CAE (can't read the rest). Reverse is a person standing, in their left hand is a tall staff with things on it (imagine a shish kabob) and the right arm is extended holding another thicker staff. Can't read the legend. This one is cupped (I suppose damaged and is holed. Any help appreciated. Both look Roman to me. roman7.webproman8.webp

Ideas? This one is holed.

It is a match for the Gordian III ruler. Not exactly sure but size and weight are about right. YEAH!

Any ideas of value? And is one of the silver plated ones or solid?

Honesty and forthrightness sometimes stink. I finally got it to a coin dealer and it was pronounced a reproduction. I did buy some real Roman silvers from the dealer though. I've known him for 30 years.
