Angus mackirk backpacker question

I have an angus mackirk backpacker that is poorly made. It isn't the right dimensions that it should be and the double step riffles are molded badly. I bought it from big valley metal detectors. I was very disappointed with it. I am wondering if it is fake.

No, in the picture it looks nice thats why i bought it but it is not molded nearly as good as it is in the pic.

The dimensions should be 21.5 in long 5.5 in wide and 2.5 in deep mine is only 5 in wide and about 20 in long and 2 in deep. It is 5.5 in wide.

I'm sure they can tell you exactly what model it is or if it is a fake (Which I would assume they would want to know about).

I hate to bring up an old post but the recent angus mackirk I got seems to be poorly molded aswell. does anyone know the outcome of this?

It isnt an angus..he told me the first time I met him that he has a "buddy" who makes those for near nothing, and gives them to him to sell

I just called the 208 number and spoke to them this afternoon. I told him I got it from big valley metal detectors and he didn't question it at all. I'm shipping mine back due to imperfections and he is sending me a new one straight from the angus mackirk manufacturing plant

...curious, you mentioned big valley? You bought it in Sacramento..?

if they are selling cheap/poor quality fakes, using A M names someone needs to put a thumb down on them! or atleast get their names out to all the forums to warn people of their cheating others and labeling someone elses good name!

The only angus mackirk on the sluice is a stick on the aide of it seen here and here is the top view

Quite odd... That is the right sticker. Maybe give Angus a call after the 4th...
