Last year was the year of the Indian Head for me and it seems like this year may be the year of the Barber.
I started out on an older property this morning. I pulled 5 wheats 1920, 25, 44, 47, & 51. With about 10 minutes to go on this time limited permission I pulled an 1895 Barber.
I also dug a Captain Midnight decoder from 1949.
Can you believe it, it sleeted for about 30 minutes during this hunt. What's up with this weather

I then went to a newer township park and only pulled 2 dimes and some trash. Went back to town and hit a curb strip and got 5 pennies, then went by the firehouse and pulled a the good luck token, and then knocked on another door of a trashy old dilapidated house in town. I got permission from Charlie to hunt the front yard. Not much there, pulled 28 cents and part of a silver plated spoon.
