Another buffalo with a date...

[park pirate]

Man the humidity was bad today, and the black flies were biting I'm surprised I found anything but I did manage a buff with a date 1927....

[Carolina Tom]

Very nice PP. Congrats on getting one with a date. Be careful in the heat. GL to you!

[Professor of Engineering]

Congratulations on the Buffalo nickel recovery!

You are right about the big three; heat, humidity and nasty (beach) flies in my area. Started at 5:00 am and ended at 8:00 am, big three won today!

Regards,

Dated buffs are always a neat find

[basque-man]

[kingskid1611]

Wonderful!

[Randyg12]

I love the detail and the way it looks! Please don't clean it because it looks great the way you found it! WTG!

[Loco-Digger]

Love the Buffalo. Congrats on pulling that coin and not getting skunked. They avoid me, have only pulled one in 14 months, and I had to drive 40 miles away to find it.

[UnderMiner]

1927, two years before the Great Depression. The last couple of years of good times before 15 years of bad times.
Great find, must have been dropped quite shortly after minting!

[Old Dude]

Buffs and SLQ's have fewer dates than Tylerbdad in high school. Nice old nickel.
