There were NO proof halves made in 1968 or 1969. There were mint sets but they are not proof coins.
Can I assume my Bi-centential Kennedy S proof is Silver if the reeding look like that too, all silver

Also, 2008 is a lower mintage year from what I gather!
If it has the silver edge, yes. But it is 40%. The modern silver proofs are all 90%.
