That's an English cloth seal, & your other find's are VERY nice!! Congrat's!!

Iowa Dale

Bale seal - No? Some were quite large, especially the older ones. Congrats on the coppers being found. Nice to get those state issued coppers. Nicer still to find them in better condition than typically found. The recent Connecticut copper you posted was a real beauty.

I agree with Dale on that it's a cloth seal, as a bale seal seem to have a wire running through them, as where the cloth seals are folded over as this.

Great looking coppers once again.

Nice finds hogge. Congrats!

Love the old coppers, congratulations! :occasion14:

I believe the other item is a cloth seal.

Looks nice, nice finds

Fantastic finds! I can only wish . . .

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny

The Connecticut MIGHT be a 32.4 -X.5. First time I have had a chance to look and this one looks promising. Might have a chance to check more closely, but Connecticuts can be very challenging to ID.

Yes they are very much a pain sometimes. would like to see if we can positively ID. See what you can do. THANKS!

OK, I am feeling pretty good about 32.4-X.5 which is a high R5 variety.
