Found an orphaned CZ-82 (Ceská Zbrojovka 82) at our local gunshow this past weekend,, that was crying to be adopted. I passed it twice, but the third time around I couldn't resist and it came home with me. This one needs the holster, cleaning rod and lanyard to make it complete. Came with an early production magazine (No lower indent and a milled floorplate) a later production one (Lower indent and stamped floorplate), and a cheap knockoff one that ended up in my parts/junk pile. From my reading, any attempts to make the knock off ones work is a waste of time.
So now I have the following CZ pistols.
1953 CZ-52
1989 CZ-82
1990 CZ-82 Newest one
1991 CZ-83
1991 CZ-83 Currently residing with my FIL
Picture 1 1990 CZ-82 I just adopted.
Picture 2 Magazines (L to R) Late production, early production and cheap knock off.
Picture 3 (T to B) 1953 CZ-52, 1989 CZ-82 and 1991 CZ-83.
Picture 4 Showing my 1989 CZ-82 with holster and cleaning rod, sans pistol lanyard.
Picture 5 The 1991 CZ-83 that my FIL gun-napped.
