Hey gang! My name is Rob and I just got my first metal detector I am a history buff and I have always loved reading and researching things like Oak Island, the Lost city of "Z" , the ancient copper culture here in America, Gobekli Tepe ect ect ect...
Now metal detecting lets me catch a brief glimpse of our not to distant past and I am very excited! Truly I don't care if I make 5 cents I am in it for the fun!
I would love to get together sometime with some other people from my area if you guys do trips and stuff I would also be interested! Hope I can become a valuable member someday...
(I am also a bit of a graphics guru and have pretty much improved every website I have been a part of so if you need some stuff let me know. I can "Spruce" stuff up quick like!)
Oh..about me Happy married, Love Football, Juicy steaks on the grille and the occasional cold beer (Preferably a nice IPA). I also play a little golf!
