Howdy,
So my brother found this one in the diggings of a groundhog hole in Western Maryland. I think it may be Rhyolite but I am no expert by far. The stone looks grey like in the first photo like granite almost, but upon handing does seem to be very hard/brittle. It is also very scalloped at the edge as seen in the computer mouse photo.
Could this be some sort of cutting tool? Could that other rock that is attached to it be something it was mounted in?
Or is it just a rock....
