Another First! Shield Nickel.

Hit up a green acres field around my way with mom and our buddy Jason for about 5 hours. This site has a 200 year old house that sits way back. When we pulled up 2 guys were already out there detecting One had already dug a smooth 1 reale. Ended up squeezing a first out. 1868 Shield Nickle. In pretty decent shape to boot. Found a few plain flat buttons and a very interesting 3 Leaf clover with a big Acorn and flower attached to the front I could use help on this one. Beautiful day out, very windy and spikey burs everywhere..Ouch..

Nice going on the shield! Sorry I couldn't meet up with you. I was up at sunrise at another site. My first signal of the day was an old 14k gold men's wedding band. I should have went back to bed after that!
