Hi everyone! I found an odd quarter not too long ago and it piqued my interest. I did a little research and found that it was a 1964 90% silver quarter. Also in my travels I came across this great site. That got me more interested in CRH, so today on my way home from work I hit 4 banks. Not one had any halfs so I asked about old dollar coins. One bank happened to have $45 worth of ikes so I grabbed them all. There are a variety of dates in there (no proofs) but what I found most interesting were the bicentennial ikes. They are all in circulated condition, none great none bad. My question is are these worth hanging on to? I have read people grabbing these up but have found little reasoning behind it. Any information would be great! Thanks for reading!

Many people on here acquire al lot of them and then sell them for around 1.4X face on sites like craigslist. Hope this helps

I buy any that I come across, as a service to my tellers. After that, I use them for boat anchors and paperweights.

Keep them all. They make a perfect weapon for smashing that cherry picking tellers car window. It's neat, they go right through the glass and into the front seat while breaking the whole window.
