I did not see this until now, We left for Brazil on the 25th and just got back yesterday. had a fun trip but flying time to Recife Brazil is about 14 hours in the air..
No issues Metal Detecting in Brazil, just the beaches are LOADED with trash and all the coins are made of IRON which sucks ... Next time I go I'm going to fashion a magnet of some sort to work the dry sand for free money...
Almost impossible to distinguish coins from beer bottle caps... and there were thousands of bottle caps everywhere..

Has anyone ever wondered... If these people knew we would be digging their coins up 3,000 years later with machines, do you think they would have made more for us to find ? 🤣
