Hello Gang!
The last week has been a Dog-Day-Week!
I've only been out three times due to extremely dry weather.
The last couple of days it's rained here in Southern Colorado making ideal
conditions for MD'ing. Plus, it turned off cool! Anyway, today the wife wanted
me to drive here to Pueblo being she had the day off and needed some TTS (Time To Shop).
So, I loaded my MD'ing gear and said Yes Dear!
At the park, I went to an area new to me
and almost immediately found the 1897 Indian Head. I managed to score it a little. The next
target was the 1920s wheat. I thought; dammmmm! I really thought I was going to do well
but my hunt was interupted by a rather large group of people congregating to have a party.
So, I had to move on. Under a cedar tree I got what I thought was a nickel signal; discovering
the pretty little gold ring. I didn't even know it had 6 wee-bee diamonds until I got home and cleaned it.
The only markings I can make out inside the band appear to be P 14k. And, I'm not certain of that.
The Sterling earring was found locally as was the 1911 One cent Mexican coin. I seem to be having
a run on early 19th century Barbers; finding another 1907 Barber Dime and 1903 Barber Nickel. The three McDonald
Arch Cards were found stuck together. Checking the internet, they are worthless. Bummer; no burgers for the Dude!
Thank you for your interest,
