I was lucky enough to pick this up today. As usual I was working the wet and eyeballed this on the surface.

14K. made in Canada. 21.22 gram weight.

dang knew I was doing something wrong, I just slap the battery on, throw it in my truck and tell it find me the Gold Baby! Guess I better sweet talk it.

LOL I just went back and reread your post and saw eye balled..thats why I was asking what detector, cause I wanted to know what detector you used that found chains.

I have found chains with the Excal2, It just won't pick up real fine ones unless it has some sort of medallion or other fairly large piece on it.
 
That is one hell of a nice necklace. That would make my week, and then the one after as well. Hell, Im still beaming about a silver necklace from 2 weeks ago! Congrats on the stupendous find!

Wow over 22 grams. Thats some big bucks,even as scrap. I,d have to wait a bit till it gets back up though. Now it is under $800.00 an ounce Great job. Mike.
