I didn't find a lot of good stuff today BUT.......what I did find was pretty nice. It made the trip worth it.
After helping the farmer replace a universal joint in his dump truck, I got to hunt for a while. As mentioned in one of my other posts, nobody gets to do anything on his property without working for, and earning it!!!
Anyway, hunted around an old church/school that is no longer there. Tons of targets in the ground but not too many that really caught my attention. I did find a harmonica reed and several iron buckles (not worth posting).
I then went back near my "honey hole" to do some exploring, ended up in the area where I found the spur last week, within a few minutes I had found a single bullet .54 cal., several whole horseshoes (a good sign that the cavalry was in the area) and this Eagle Breast Plate!!!!
Didn't find too much after that, it certainly made the day easier though, especially after almost getting skunked yesterday.

Enjoy the pics.
First ones are the plate I found today. Then there is one with the two plates, the one on the left is the one I found last week.
