Another Great Teller Score

Stopped at a bank yesterday afternoon while doing errands. Teller had some half dollars & large dollar coins sitting on the counter behind her. I bought the half dollars & when I looked at the large dollar coins from afar, I thought I saw a bright edge. I bought all of them to. I normally don't buy large dollar coins but I made a exception this time. It was a total of $28 in half dollars & $32 in large dollar coins. There were $7.50 (15 coins) in silver halves. 3 90% (1/61 Ben & 2/64 Ken) & 12 40% (1/65 wt 11.5 grams, 2/67, 7/68 & 2/69). The large dollar coins were amazing. In the batch were 3 silver dollars . 2 Morgans (1/1883 & 1/1889 O) & 1 1922 Peace dollar. The teller told me that she just got the coins in from a customer who was 2 customers before me. Always buy them all if you buy them. As it's also been said many times before - It's still out there.

Awesome score, man, silver dollars are a rare and cool find. I think they would be classified as Morgans though, instead of Barbers. And as if I needed more proof, there's another lesson in the importance of buying everything they have! Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

I feel your pain. Most time the tellers aren't hot & they still give me clad (lol). They're almost always nice however.
