VaGent, Well Done on the CW lead and the other Saves as well. That brass piece has me scratching my bald head. I have seen this piece before, but I cannot recall just what it is. Hit the same Civil War spot I have been hunting for a month, this afternoon; I will stick to this spot until my neighbor moves in a few weeks and I lose access to it. I was rewarded with 7 bullets, a ground-cloth grommet, a couple leather rivets, and a large brass whatsit that I am posting separately in the "can you identify" forum.
