Another hunt in the pouring rain

Left the house a 0645 to hit a very old park that had a civil war camp near by and has been popular with locals for over 150 years. There’s a disc golf course there so detecting can be hazardous if you’re not paying attention, anyway, I plucked out 3 IHP 1882, 1889 and a fire damaged 1897, a 1900 V nickel, a buffalo nickel I can’t see the date yet, a pair of wheaties and some clad. I also found a match safe that had something heavy in it, turned out to be a religious statue inside (I was hoping for $1 gold coins😡). I found my obligatory lead, a old live 30-06 round and a live .38 smith &Wesson rim fire, some silver jewelry bits and a really cool enameled flat button, and a full pouch of crapola.

Dang nice tribe and other coins I would stay out in the rain finding all that the statue is of boogleduby an ancient God who brings riches to all who lay eyes on it. Just dont get it wet or you will face the wrath........He is most sacred
